Revival Wrestling

About Us

At Revival School of Wrestling, we forge athletes through discipline, dedication, and a lifelong love for the sport. Our mission is to build wrestlers who not only compete at the highest levels, but also grow into strong leaders, guided by stoic values, resilience, and integrity — both on the mat and in life.

Revival Wrestling

Revival Wrestling was founded with a mission far beyond the mat.

We challenge athletes to grow in every area of life—physically, mentally, and emotionally—while modeling integrity, discipline, and respect. Parents, coaches, and communities trust us because our purpose is greater than podiums.

We’re committed to reshaping youth athletics with values that last a lifetime. Our programs reflect the priorities of families who seek structure, mentorship, and long-term development—not just quick wins.

Together, we’re building a regional legacy—uniting schools, families, and athletes to elevate the standard of North County wrestling and shape its next generation of leaders.

Meet Our Coaches

Don Delfin

Don Delfin

Coach

Coach Don is a North San Diego County standout whose wrestling journey spans high‑level collegiate competition and military service. He wrestled at Southern Connecticut State University before transferring to CSU Bakersfield, where he competed at the Division I level under legendary coach T.J. Kerr.

Coach Don joined the United States Marine Corps and continued to compete at a national level, wrestling for the Marine Corps team under renowned coach Jay Antonelli. Those experiences forged his belief in toughness, accountability, and constant personal growth.

Now he’s on a mission: to turn North County into a dominant wrestling force. His coaching is fueled by passion, purpose, and a commitment to helping athletes rise—on the mat, in the classroom, and in life. He’s here to build champions and elevate the entire North County area.

Kyle Boore

Kyle Boore

Coach

Coach Kyle Boore began wrestling at age 11 at Ledyard High School in Connecticut, where he was a two-time State Champion, team captain, and state placer. He went on to wrestle at Harper College (IL), qualifying for the NJCAA National Championships.

After graduation, Coach Boore spent 10 years as an Assistant Coach at Harper College, helping coach 33 All-Americans, including four National Champions, and contributing to multiple top-10 national finishes. In 2010, the program made history by winning the NJCAA National Team Championship, the first non-scholarship school to do so.

Since relocating to Carlsbad, California in 2020, Coach Boore has worked with wrestlers across Southern California and served as a Team California National Team Coach at the USA Wrestling Freestyle National Championships in Fargo. He joined Revival School of Wrestling in 2023, bringing a disciplined, development-focused approach to building complete athletes.
